Richard's Pub - East Greenwich

Place was crowded at lunch, don't know why. Our orders were taken quickly but then we had to ask for our salads after a half hour wait during which we never was our waiter. He took our drink order brought the beverages and took our orders and we never saw him again, until another waitress told him we were waiting for the salads. The salads may have had 9 to 10 pieces of lettuce between them. We had onlt taken a first bite of salad when the meals arrived. All of the sides were barely tepid. We had to ask for dinner rolls, which were brought when we were nearly finished eating. The are no prices on the drinks menu, seafood entrees, or desserts. I had a glass of mediocre red wine which retails for 7 to 8 a bottle and paid 10 for a five ounce glass. The service was inferior the food nothing special and the prices were high for the quality of the food. Will never go back.

Being from out of Town I was looking for a Local Pub with food. What a find, great food an atmosphere !!!! I started with their New Clam Chowder which was superb . My main course was their Clam Strips which were great and mounds of them.You won’t go hungry with their portions.Not knowing the area they called me an Uber. Had a chatty Old Rhode Islander who topped off a wonderful evening. I highly recommend this place.

Had not been here in years but with Covid we were trying any place (within reason) that had outside dining. Service was great, staff were friendly and the food was good!

I had braised short ribs with risotto and a salad. Wife had chicken with a salad and baked potato. We were both very happy with our meal. Wife had chocolate martini that was perfect. Always good here including service.

In the area you should not miss going to this outstanding pub with top quality large portion food items.If there tell Jeff you saw this . He is the head chef and this guy knows how to run a kitchen.Best food around. Home made corned beef and if it not from scratch you do not get it. He is a true artist in the kitchen. His kitchen people are all trained by him so everything is perfect. This is why the parking lots are full all of the time.You will get a spot as the lots are large. A great pub lounge and many rooms in the pub itself.Business meetings,or just a single you are going to go back many times. They do have another location in E.G.but a different format. However the pub is one you do not want to miss.A true hidden Gem.
