Plaka Mediterranean Grill

Plaka is my local Greek restaurant that I've been visiting for the past 25 years. The food is authentic and has a homemade feel to it—absolutely delicious! I particularly love the eggplant and the grilled chicken with potatoes; they’re just perfect! The gyro meat is also excellent!

By far the best Greek dishes I've ever had! The food is delicious, the prices are fair, and the portions are generous. The waitress was incredibly beautiful, professional, and very friendly. The bathroom was also nice and clean. This place is truly wonderful, even better than some restaurants in Astoria. From now on, it’s my favorite Greek restaurant!

Fantastic! I visited this restaurant for an early dinner, and I thoroughly enjoyed my falafel platter—it was definitely worth the price. I was also pleased to finally indulge my craving for lemon potatoes. The service was excellent, the bathroom is accessible, and there are free parking spaces available.

Great taste, very fast service and reasonable portions. We enjoyed sitting outside in the shade. The aubergine bath and the octopus were delicious.

Mmmm! Definitely order the grilled Octopus! Perfect. It’s so good because they get it from Spain! Perfectly cooked! Then I got the Gyro platter with grilled vegetables, sauce, and greek salad. It’s so much food, especially when they bring out pita with balsamic, olive oil and herbs to start! Have lunch for tomorrow! Could not finish it all. The best was Sylvie though, she’s a gem! Sent me home with sponge cake that her Aunt makes! A wonderful cozy family restaurant with the freshest food! You won’t go wrong! Enjoy!
