Sainsbury's Cafe - East Dorset

Food isn’t that bad for the price of it so what do you expect. Coffee is not good but little children boxes are great for the little one as they’d eaten it all up!

Typical cafe within a supermarket. Most staff are very pleasant and helpful. Cooking is a bit variable, but edible. No complaints and reasonably priced. Good way to end a shopping session.

I was too late to get the all day breakfast so I had what they call a bigger breakfast on their main menu. I had been before and had a bad experience but thought I would give them a second chance. ok where to start? Bacon ok, Hash browns ok. Now it gets worse, Half a tomato (if that much) squashed, mushroom wet and droopy...greasy. Two sausages burnt to a crisp. One of the two eggs had runny white. baked beans, thick and stuck together as if they had been cooked several times. One of the pieces of toast had a huge bit missing from it. To be honest it was (with most of the items) that they were left over from the earlier breakfasts. I will not be going back there, shame it is close to me. Other Sainsbury cafes I have visited have been ok. I wish I had taken photos, only thought of it when I got home.

Lovely breakfast with just the right size portions. Not fatty, very enjoyable; would recommend a visit. Tea is served in a teapot which gives 2 3 cups of tea a must with breakfast

It does what it says on the tin. Decent coffee and good bites. Always clean and cheaper than any pub for that filler snack they are more than worth it.
