The Filling Station Cafe Colyford Cycles

We were initially ignored by the girl at the counter, who seemed frustrated and barely spoke while taking our order. It appeared she was annoyed at being interrupted from her phone. However, once another employee assisted us, our coffee and cakes were fantastic. The coffee was hot and delicious, and there was a wide selection of fresh, tasty cakes to choose from. The prices were also very affordable. I am confident that our next visit will be a 5-star experience.

No matter how you look at it, this restaurant satisfies both needs. While bikes may not be our thing right now, we can see that this place caters incredibly well to cyclists. We also discovered today that it is a great spot for coffee lovers. Keep an eye out for the Shell colors as you drive along the A3052 in Colyford.

This restaurant offers a very friendly welcome to its guests. They serve delicious cakes, savouries, and excellent coffee in a pleasant environment. Be sure to try the Cheesy Crumpets with Marmite spread. The entire establishment, located in an old motor garage, is impeccably clean. They also have a very good reward card program in place.

Wonderful coffee, cake staff at this cafe always so friendly. A great bike shop also on the premises.

Granddaughter staying with us for half term break. Had to abandon promised bbq on the beach and decided to go to cinema at Sidmouth. Stopped off for refreshments at the filling station cafe and was not disappointed. Lovely lady, assisted by a young man served us and the food and coffee was just perfect, chocolate cake, cheesy and cheesy &marmite crumpets, scrummy. The lady who served us is really lovely and engaged with our granddaughter. It makes such a difference when you are served by nice friendly people, making the experience so much nicer. Thoroughly recommend.
