From the outside we had second thoughts about the place, but when we went in we were not despised, the place is small, but clean and has a good mood.
Wasabi house was 1 of my way to take orders during the covid, but as they opened again for din in, a few problems. my man wanted bark negamaki, but they were.
During COVID, Wasabi House was my go-to for takeout orders. However, when they reopened for dine-in, there were a few issues. My husband tried to order beef negamaki, but they were out on Friday, so he settled for a soup with udon noodles, which oddly came with soup and salad. He found the broth to be lacking in flavor, the chicken was simply boiled, and there was no seafood. I ordered a tuna avocado roll, but the tuna was chopped into small pieces inside the roll, which was not what I expected. The salmon teriyaki was decent, although the salmon was slightly overcooked. The prices for sushi rolls are higher than average, even for basic rolls. While the service was fine and the miso soup and salad were good, there were no desserts available, not even ice cream. Overall, there are other places we prefer despite the higher prices.
I ordered nearly $100 worth of sushi because I had been craving it after a long week of hard work, but I was extremely disappointed because none of it was fresh. The rice was hard and overall it lacked flavor, making it not worth the money. I would have been better off buying sushi from the grocery store's prepared food section. The person who took my order for takeout had good customer service. Overall, the food was rated a 2 and the service a 5.
