Stewart's Root Beer - East Brunswick

This place is fantastic! I ordered a vegan falafel sandwich, sweet potatoes, and fried Oreos. Everything was delicious, and I highly recommend it!

I had a great experience at this restaurant before the pandemic, but last night’s takeout left me very disappointed. I understand that prices have been rising everywhere, but if you're going to increase prices, you shouldn't compromise on the quality and portion sizes of your food. I paid nearly $7 for a small order of onion rings, and the Philly Cheesesteak Panini I ordered came with barely any overcooked steak and a slice of unmelted cheese. It didn’t even have the onions, mushrooms, or peppers that it was supposed to include. I won't be coming back, which is a shame because we used to enjoy this place.

I visited the restaurant because they offered some vegan options. However, I found the prices to be on the higher side. Unfortunately, the waitress mistakenly ordered a non-vegan meatball parmesan for me. The manager didn't address the issue, and I ended up feeling guilty for not being able to eat the meatballs and cheese, which weren't vegan.

So happy they have amazing vegan options! You need to try the fat falafel sandwich, vegan quesadillas and vegan waffles!! The Falafel sandwich is huge and fillable - so worth the price. Filled with the most delicious pommes, salad, tomatoes and falafel. The staff is super courtesy and also sweet! IHR 9/10!

I placed an order through Grubhub, it said the restaurant would be delivering my order. The driver called to see if I got my order which I had not. He left it at the wrong address. He told me he had to call his boss to see what do to and he would call me back. I called the driver back after not hearing anything for a while and he told me it was delivered to the correct address and if I had a problem to contact Grubhub. He swears it was delivered to the address I provided. I have never had anything like this happen before and I of course had my correct address entered into the app. So disappointed with how this was handled.
