The food was good, and there was only one server handling the entire restaurant. She was very focused and straightforward, and we only saw her briefly a couple of times. Our order was accurate, and my wife's dish was delicious. However, my meal was surprisingly underwhelming—nothing bad, just average and forgettable. For instance, the chicken lacked the vibrant seasoning typically found in Mexican cuisine and tasted more like boiled chicken. The chips were stale, but the salsa was excellent.
The food is satisfactory, but the service is quite slow, even when we were the only ones dining outside. The frozen margaritas were mostly just ice cubes and flavoring, lacking any alcohol. I recommend that they provide better training for their waitstaff and ensure that alcohol is actually included in their drinks.
I really enjoyed my dining experience here. Our waitress was very friendly, and she arrived with a big smile on her face. I ordered the flautas dinner and they were crispy and delicious! The little pieces of steak that came on the side were delicious and tender. My girlfriend ordered the Enchiladas verdes and the green sauce was delicious. We also had the Texas Margaritas and the flavor was very good. Overall we were extremely pleased with our experience.
I've said it before, I am a Huge Mexican food fan! This place was average at best. Chip salsa was ok but not spicy at all. I asked for hot sauce on my tacos thinking it would an authentic homemade hot sauce. But what I got instead was Frank's Hot sauce. Love Frank's, but on my wings! Not on my tacos. There was a side of guacamole but it seemed more like just crushed up avocado. The chips that came with the food were definitely store bought. Likely Not coming back. In my opinion, Chipotle is more authentic! Especially for the money I spent! Lunch for one $21.00!!
