The food was amazing. Service was phenomenal. The pops house was great, especially the homemade pesto base was perfect.

Such an awesome local pizza joint. It’s hard to find dairy and gluten free pizzas— there’s don’t disappoint!

This is my go to neighborhood pizza spot. Quality pizza for great price. My only critique is that they change their pizza delivery from Slice, who once delivered our pizza to wrong address and then kept saying we were wrong and delivered it to correct one. Otherwise, this is an amazing pizza place and underrated.

We decided to share a large pizza among three of us, and I appreciated that they allowed us to choose different toppings for each half, which was nice but not surprising. I also ordered a small salad for $5 as a personal addition, and my friend chose 10 wings for the table to share. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the small salad—it was quite generous! It was well-prepared and delicious, and I'm quite particular about my salads. The wings, seasoned with a dry rub of Old Bay, were excellent, and we opted for this instead of the traditional buffalo sauce. We selected a white sauce pizza, which was utterly fantastic. It was perfectly baked, topped generously without being overwhelming, and the ingredients were of high quality. While we chose a regular crust for our pizza, they also offer several gluten-free crust options for those who need or prefer them. This place truly feels like a hidden gem, and I will definitely return whenever I'm in town and in need of a meal. Overall, I would rate it five stars, especially when considering the quality, flavor, and value. They keep things casual, which helps them maintain their affordable prices.

Pop's Backdoor is a cut above the typical pizza and sub place, hidden away in a location that many may overlook during their lunch break. One of my favorite features of Pop's is their lunch specials, available Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for dine-in or carryout only. They offer ten different lunch specials priced between $6.50 and $12. While I haven’t tried their sandwiches or other menu items, I can speak for their pizza. It has a thin, New York-style crust, loaded with toppings, and I love that they allow you to mix and match toppings on individual slices.
