Rocomamas Gateway - Durban

I have to mention this because my Parner and I have gone to MANY restaurants in the past 8 years and have many RocoMamas shops, but RocoMamas Gateway must be the best experience until your manager Sdumo and his ENTIRE team are absolutely remarkable. The ambience they spend, the welcome received and their service and food is absolutely perfect. They made us feel like we were absolutely royal. I have to say that much fun. I really believe that all your employees throughout the country should be trained by them. I want to tell you so much for this experience, and I really believe that they are a real WASST for your franchise. They must be rewarded for their incredible service. I calculate them 5 stars and more if there was such an option. Back to Johannesburg for us tomorrow and I am so grateful for those who made us so rewarding last night on the coast (for now).

Excellent service, amazing food first time trying RocoMamas and it was just wow. Everything was delicious Zama our waitress was a superstar and so was the rest of the team.

Awesome atmosphere. Can be a little nippy inside when it's cold so bring a light sweater. Staff are friendly. Menu is simple and awesome. Food is great. Milkshakes are unrivalled. Cheesy string fries must be eaten while hot! Portions are big so most people wouldn't finish a regular burger, small chips and a milkshake without being lethargic afterward.

Sat outside. a busy place. Service was fast and staff were good. Food was good. Took the special for R 129. a starter with main n dessert.

The RocoMamas Gateway branch is an especially fun and trendy part of the franchise, not only does it boast an unconventional yet comfortable and unique atmosphere, the food is absolutely flavourful! The waiting time is not ridiculously long and neither are the menu options boring and bland. The menu itself is a very interesting part of the meal choosing process with a variety of options and the opportunity to mix and match some if your favourite meal items,whether you're a meat or veggie lover. The meals themselves are value for money, and have lovely presentation. In fact, the waffles I'd ordered were large enough to share, and so are many of the other menu options. I highly recommend a visit at this restaurant if you're a fan of good vibes and great aura. The staff are friendly and attentive, the shakes are to die for(literally, with their slow death by chocolate,a personal favourite) ,the food is delectable, and hold up,there are no PLASTIC STRAWS, which is highly commendable! The one star lost was solely because of the damaged cutlery(Forks), that clipped and gripped my younger sister's lips quite a few times during her meal due to bent prongs, but other than that, the place was brilliant,so just go and thank me later!
