Great fish. nothing to complain. good service. beautiful place with native (family). I'm going back.
I think that eating was very expensive. the menu has a good variety, but what I ordered fell a little flat. I had the steak, and while it was perfectly cooked, it was slighly bland/underseasoned. my friend ordered the cod with pasta and he also said that his cod was slightly underseasoned, but the pasta and creamy sauce was good. I have no problem with my steak costs 23 euro, but a cable pad should not also 23 euro. starter prices around 14 euro and mostly around 24 euro with desserts is 9 euro. for me, this is in order when eating corresponds to the praises which I do not think. the server started really good and fast, but when the meal went, we couldn't catch it and let our plates clear and our bill to pay lasted a terrible long time. some rooms to improve.
Now this is a little more like it.Le Puzzle is pretty compact, but all the better for it.Crowded with locals - a sign that's it's worth visiting - you can see the boats in the marina just over the road from the restaurant and with a couple of nice bars nearby, it fits well into a good night out.The food is of a good quality and attention to detail and presentation is clearly important. They say they first bite is with the eye, and thus the balance of colours and styles worked really well with all dishes in the three course meal we had.The food was well prepared and thought had clearly gone into it all.Service was prompt and attentive and a good choice of wines.Worth finding and worth reserving a table on peak nights. Recommended.
This is a great little gem on the quayside by the Duchess Ann (a three masted sailing ship) a maritime museum which was closed when I went (as a Tuesday). Parking near by is easy and very cheap. We had a late lunch on the terrace as it was such a gorgeous day but the inside of the restaurant is very attractive too. The service was excellent as was the wine list (one of the waiters, Steve, is a trained sommelier and chose the perfect wine for us!). The food is affordable, beautifully presented and very tasty. La cerise sur le gâteau (The cherry on the cake) was the amazing café gourmand! I was very impressed! All in all a very good address. We will certainly return.Beware they are closing for a bit in August to revamp the place and extend the terrace.
