The best Japanese restaurant in town with a Japanese chef, a great place for dating and business chats.
Food is good, price is high, service not friendly.. Would eat there again because of the food, while hoping the service would be better.. The specials have a good price, regular menu, not so much.. Did I mention service? Ugh..
The staff are friendly and as always Japanese foods are always yummy sushi is my fave ,bit expensive but is reasonable..
Ate here last sunday with my wife. two kinds of sushi, one dish of tempura. it was all ok and probably we will come back. i am having trouble getting used to "hot (temperature)" sushi. never had it anywhere before, can't find it on google, but its the second time i have been served sushi hot enough that it would burn your mouth. really do not like it that wayi ate here almost four years ago the first time and swore i would never come back. that time the place was packed, the sushi seemed mostly rice and not very attractive and the roaches were soooo busy on the table top, this during lunch timethis time we were the only customers on sunday evening, the sushit was pretty good and the place was spotless, not a bug in sight. service was very goodits hard to find sushi in the phils which seems strange since all of the ingredients are compatible with the filipino palate. you would think sushi would be a street food here but its not. my pinay wife is very happy with the discovery and she lights up when the budget will accommodate sushi.mifune is a bit pricey for dumagute and even as i remember in the states. five bucks for 8 piece california roll which were large but double rice layer and small center
