Jamrock Cultural - Duluth

I ordered the special seafood macaroni and cheese, and it was a hit with everyone at the table. It was packed with plenty of crab and shrimp, all mixed into a deliciously spiced Caribbean-style macaroni and cheese. We also received a slice of cornbread on the side. Two out of the three of us had leftovers to take home!

We dropped by for lunch on a Saturday, and the seafood boil was absolutely delicious—more than enough for the two of us to share. The menu is genuinely unique, and we really enjoyed chatting with the staff. Overall, it was a wonderful hometown experience.

If there were an option for negative stars for the food, I would definitely choose it. Their website menu is outdated, and when we visited, they didn't even have some items listed. My husband ordered tilapia, which came with rice; unfortunately, the fish was very dry and the rice was undercooked. I ordered shrimp scampi, which is also supposed to come with rice, but what I received was nothing like shrimp scampi—it was awful and I couldn't even identify it. The rice had an overpowering lemon flavor and was swimming in water at the bottom of my plate, not to mention it was undercooked as well. We couldn't finish our meals because they were so bad. I would absolutely not recommend this place, especially considering we paid $66 for the experience. On our way home, both my husband and I started to feel sick to our stomachs. I regret not calling them on Saturday because we're both still experiencing stomach issues and have been in and out of the bathroom. I typically eat only once a day, so it was definitely this meal that made us ill.

We stopped in on a very cold Friday for a quick lunch. The murals on the walls were great and the food came up quickly.I had the jerk chicken sandwich. The seasoning was perfect. The coco bread bun was tasty and chewy. I'm probably the only person who doesn't love fresh cut fries, but the Island Fries were tasty.Check out this gem in downtown Duluth.

I've only ever had it delivered, but let me just say it is phenomenal. The steak is juicy and so delicious. There are so many flavors in here and the jerk Chicken is amazing and spicy and it's just highly recommended. Makes your mouth
