Restaurant Sichuan - Düsseldorf

I was there with friends to eat hotpot, so we knew this locally from the past before the renovation and were there regular. it was never beautiful from ambiente, but we felt comfortable eating was great and authentic. now that has been renovated, nothing has changed in the local area. the terrace recalls an unfurnished garage with all kinds of shredded .man sitting on 50s wooden chairs. GDR-Vietnam style through and through. unfortunately no more kimchi, is for me necessarily part of it, and no more delicious suppe as before that you liked to eat beforehand. you can only drink with ice cubes and please don't order any wine. German language is difficult to understand here. chef (the only person who speaks deusch) nasty and unfriendly. I'm not gonna go. gives a lot of choice in düsseldorf!

Current offer: hot pot "all you can eat and (!) drink (softdrinks and beer)" for 18.80.-€.Essen super! but don't dare to drink more than three beers - then the chef beats subtle theater.A skurrile calculation of extra costs ("grill shots cost extra" etc.) that are not mentioned in the menu or otherwise beaten up anywhere, there's on top of it.The team is really trying. in the bad-tempered style of the chef, one goes along with the appetit.

Yes, the ambiente is already in need of reconciliation, but we have been visiting the restaurant since 2012 regularly and now look very generously over everything and grins into us. because the fire pot and the possibility to take only the products from the buffet you want are unique in this style and tastefully in d’dorf. for us this is the best fire pot. the price/performance ratio is also true. at the moment there is a change of owner, the restaurant is closed for renovation and is scheduled to be reopened in 2017. the device can’t hurt it, but hopefully this fire pot will be preserved.

We were very late and had hunger, so we stopped at the restaurant sechuan. when we went into the restaurant, I would almost return because the facility, especially in the rear part of the local, was not inviting at all. but the hunger kept us there - and that was good, because eating was very, very tasty. the portions are sufficiently large and the dishes we ordered were very tasty. the price/performance ratio was absolutely in order. even if the outer is quenched and the device is not exactly appealing, then eating on a whole line compensates.

The device reminds of a kantine in the 70s and is not as clean as you can expect. the personal is always striving, but unfortunately the German language is hardly powerful, so questioning cannot be answered. the food is a sweetly prepared guess, the meat was fat and cartilaged, the roasted noodles seemed like warmed up for the third time. the beer was not sufficiently cooled. absolutely not recommended.
