A warm welcome and friendly service little English spoken, that was great! the owners sell their family products, including wine and jams in the reception area. Delicious food about our two visits we have tasted pork steak, beef fillet, schnitzel and risotto, excellent soup and wonderful deserts. Small "personal" carafe of local wine were a very nice touch. Not our cheapest meal, but certainly not the most expensive. Excellent value and would highly recommend, although you need to book 'll.
Here the demanding diner can see what happens when you apply fine gastronomic concepts and Michelin star training to traditional Bavarian country cousin I don't love LOVE IT service is especially good for Germany and the tourist area, but then it will be... so almost to expect from a man and woman team The menu is small with a view add seasonal try: Boefflamotte 10/10 this is a take on a French dish imported in Napoleonic times in the middle class Bavarian cousin my nan’s was good, but this takes it to another level All calf traditional in the Bavarian calf is the choice of meat for celebration here extremely well made one of the few places in Germany were treated well and not boiled to death.... rarely here means rare! Starter: all very well I went conventional with a asparagus cream soup, the divine deserts their sorbets was to die (and perhaps the only thing you will master after a menu) Good wine list with personalized bottles of small German vineyards, good beer from Hacker on Tap Lovely cultivated (not so often overstored) ambience with beautiful dishes and dishes, glasses etc A true GEM
Everyone was super-professional and friendly and the food was eczelent! Very nice and cozy atmosphere. The menu is small and expensive, but what you get is best quality!
What a wonderful selection of food, quality and taste.... We as couple were there for the second time for lunch and now dinner, both were great and a memorial food!! Starter plate was last time and now potato soup, also the Burrata... was excellently served. The main course was meatballs or duck, all wonderfully served. Very professional service and warm welcome, answer to all our questions and a good knowledge of the dishes, wine and sizes of food. This brings me to dessert, for the first time there was no room left, but this time the desperately awaited Kaiserschmarrn was excellent, but also STILL too much.... so I must come back.
Friends invited us to this delightful restaurant whilst we were visiting for them for the weekend. We loved everything about it really lovely dining room with lots of character, charming service and delicious food perfect.
