Junction 21 Restaurant Bar - Dubuque

There are new owners of Junction 21 and they have updated and renewed the interior. The food is seven out of ten, in my opinion. The portions are quite large. Prices of food are cheaper than your average price of the same types of food. Beverage prices are somewhat cheaper than average. The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy, the waitress was very good and attentive. I would recommend a person to go there, also I will return to Junction 21!

The only place in Dubuque to get an impossible Burger. they used to have vegan pizzas too, but since the place closed down and reopened they don't have those anymore. The only vegan thing they have is The impossible burger and the vegan tacos. The people there are always really nice. It's always worth the drive. if you're headed out later in the evening, you may want to call ahead and make sure the kitchen still open, sometimes it closes slightly early. This is understandable.

Stopped between wedding and reception and great service, very attentive. Appetizers are exceptional, more like a meal. I had chicken tenders and others had taco chips huge! Really nice staff.

I wish I could say it was good, but it wasn't. We waited an hour and a half for our food. We ordered fried tacos, I'm not sure what it was like taco meat on a pita bread or something like that, hard as a rock. I could barely cut it with a knife. Maybe they had an off night I don't know however I won't be back. Our waiter was really friendly and not his fault. We were disappointed.

Service was great. Friendly and very accommodating. Food tasted like it was freezer burnt. Had fried shrimp it was not good. Salad bar was set out while we watched. Cole slaw was half filled, so apparently taken from fridge and set out from previous night. Mayo should not be seved after being out like that and re- served. Great place for drinks. Not food.
