Stara Loza - Dubrovnik

The restaurant is very accommodating to a variety of allergies. While they don't offer a special menu, they do make their own gluten-free bread that is served with some dishes. I enjoyed a delicious ribeye and potatoes with gluten-free bread on the side.

I recently dined at this restaurant for breakfast and also made an evening reservation. The food was incredibly delicious and the service was excellent. The balcony/terrace offered a beautiful view as well. It's no surprise that this place is recommended by Michelin, which I didn't know before visiting.

I had a wonderful dinner on the rooftop terrace overlooking the castle. I enjoyed the sweet wok and sea bass fillet, followed by a hazelnut ball for dessert. The dishes were delicious, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The view from the terrace was stunning. I suggest making a reservation in advance to secure a table on the terrace. The staff was very attentive and courteous. I highly recommend this restaurant for upscale dining in Dubrovnik.

This was our best dining experience in Croatia during our 6 days exploring Dubrovnik and Split. The service was polite from the start, despite a small mixup with our reservation. The incredible rooftop atmosphere was a highlight (reservations are necessary). The food stole the spotlight here. It was amazing, beautifully presented with elegance and refinement, and the taste was out of this world. Don't pass up the opportunity to dine at this place!

Great food, amazing service! we were in the hotel and enjoyed some very nice meals from the restaurant. in any case recommend it, but if you want the roof seats, make sure they book in advance. we enjoyed the fish, tagliata, homemade gnocchi (my favorite,) garnel and spinat pasta and breakfast.
