Maybe my standards are too high for steak after visiting Chicago steak houses recently. Also, our server took our order and that was the last time we saw him. Our food was brought out by someone else, we had drinks and he only offered to refill them when he FINALLY made his way back to the table as we were asking for check. When we sat down he offered us a dessert on the house since it was our anniversary, but by that time came we were just ready to leave rather than be ignored again. Also when I tried to ask about parking validation the greeting staff either didn’t hear me or didn’t want to pay attention to me, so we just left and paid the $7. Was a shame to spend over $100 and it be subpar.
Everyone from the Hostesses to the Food Runners are respectful and spot on with their knowledge of the menu and how a restaurant should be run. Cameron Mitchell does things right...these folks are dialed in from the start! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
First off our server Andrea deserves 5 stars! She has a great sense of humor and shining personality. I love the decor and staff uniforms they really help set the mood. My disappointment or change in my first review is just some issues with our food. Nothing huge that we would send anything back but the fondue appetizer is really just for one or two people small for the price. The batter on the Parmesan beans was different or something. My salmon was dry but the sauce underneath helped it taste better. My husband did enjoy his scallops and our friend liked her filet mignon and mashed potatoes. My Spicy margarita was delicious but yet my husband didn't really enjoy his old fashioned. So it was that kind of night just not bating 1000. Also the center of the restaurant where we sat is the loudest. I have been on the patio and a booth and both are little quieter.
Cameron Mitchell offers the best service and atmosphere. A bit pricey in Bridge Park for what you get in terms of food though. Solid Option but not cheap. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50
This is a place you can go with a group of friends or on a romantic date. You can dress super casual or you can put on your best, you set the tone. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. There are many things on the menu that you can share, this was a late dinner so we both ordered our own entrees and shared. The sides also come in sharable portions so be aware when ordering. The only thing I would change is the mash potatoes. I don't know if they were boxed or whipped, but they were thin and I didn't line the consistency.
