I have never experienced such poor service at a restaurant. The last time we dined there in 2019, the service was so terrible that we promised ourselves we would never return. Despite giving them another chance, we were once again disappointed. None of our Covid certificates were checked upon entering the restaurant. Our reservation was for 2:30, yet we didn't receive our main dishes until 3:59. The food was average when it finally arrived, but the long wait was not worth it. Surprisingly, the restaurant was not even busy.

Family Sunday lunch in Vue restaurant, Castleknock Golf Club. Called in without a reservation and got a lovely table overlooking the golf course. Great value Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Half portions for kids and relaxing time for all.

We had our daughters christening meal here recently in the function room. All my family have been raving about the food and service since! The staff provided a playmat and some toys in the room as we had around 10 children attending. It was great to have a space for the kids to play when they finished eating and the adults didn't need to worry about them running off! Will be trying to book this again for all family occasions.

Have dined there previously and was impressed , but this time starters were ok , but mains was terrible , my friend had chicken curry and I had rib eye steak , both dishes fell far short of 'Good ' we left have behind. Prices are reasonable , staff were very good.
