Wokyo - Dubai

The weekend was a bit long. the vegan ramen were amazing and the vegan options were well marked on the menu. the part was also good and very fillable.

Beautiful restaurant with interior and exterior seating. the waiting times on a Friday night were quite long, however, the vegans were worth it. vegan elements are clearly marked on the menu!

The noodles are amazing! they need as a vegan option and rice noddles. the workers were super helpful.

We stumbled over this place while we try to find another vegan restaurant. we went by and the hostes have fled to us! the other vegan place found and were not impressed, so we went back to wokyo and had our meal. they have many sose, nudge and protein options. the two who are vegan are obviously the tofu or the vege. we had the osaka and the singapur with reisnudeln. the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. would definitely go back.

I love Wokyo! It's an uncomplicated place for lunch and the guys are super friendly. Just pop in order at the counter. Everything's clearly labelled and it's easy to order a vegan noodle bowl. You can customize everything (which noodles, which ingredients, etc and you can watch them cook it, so you always know what you're getting. It's not expensive, you never wait longer than 5-6 minutes for your meal, and there's a foosball table, too, to keep you entertained : They have an inside and an outside. Wokyo can also relatively easily be reached by metro tram. Just go to Jumeirah Lakes Towers station and use the JLT exit, then walk straight past Carrefour and along the lake (with the lake on your right). The restaurant also sells a few Japanese food items ingredients for those who like to cook at home. Oh, and there's free Internet, too.
