フィードバックを提供するAmong the Mexican restaurants in Duarte, Serrano’s stands out as the best, and it's simply an excellent establishment on its own merit! I have returned several times since my first visit, and what consistently draws me back is the quality of the food. For instance, I love their corn tortillas, which are thick and hold up beautifully when making soft tacos. I’ve had my fair share of soft tacos that end up being a messy affair, with the filling spilling over my fingers and plate. Thankfully, I’ve never had that issue with the tacos at Serrano’s; even when the fillings are generous, the tortillas stay intact. Another highlight of their soft tacos is their generous portions. The meat isn’t hidden under excessive layers of lettuce and vegetables to the point that you can't tell if you ordered beef or chicken. Instead, you get wonderfully seasoned tacos, simply garnished with fresh onions, cilantro, and your choice of one of their homemade salsas. I also really enjoy their taquitos. You might think it's hard to go wrong with taquitos, but trust me, it can be done. I've had taquitos that were so overcooked they were nearly impossible to bite into and yielded only dry, chewy pieces of meat. In contrast, Serrano's taquitos boast the same delightful tortillas that provide a pleasing texture, paired with a tender and moist beef filling. Other dishes that have earned my praise include their Milanesa steak, which is perfectly coated in a crunchy golden batter that holds well while cutting into the meat. I've also tried their sopes and quesadillas, and so far, everything I’ve sampled has been fantastic. Everyone I’ve brought along has shared their approval. The moral of the story is, in your quest for a great meal, don’t forget to explore what’s in your own neighborhood. You might just discover your next favorite place to eat!
