Wednesday night We ordered food to go and when we got home to eat it...... the fried pickles were way over cooked, my med.rare club steak was over cooked, bland and tough. the cottage cheese tasted awful. Was the first time in a long time that the food quality was poor. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2

It was just average, but that's how most restaurants are nowadays. We both had the large fillet with all the sides, I would have preferred a plain baked potato, no cheese, no bacon, just butter and sour cream, but it came out loaded and you could tell it had been ready for hours. The steak was bland, no flavor, and for a $35 piece of meat I was expecting better. I finished my first glass of tea after the over sauced BBQ side's came out, and she never returned to fill my glass, but did give me a tea to go. We did not complain and left a great tip, but I doubt we will ever be back.

It 's sad to see how far downhill this place has gone. I remember when it was an upscale steakhouse with the appeal, ambiance, and class to rival Freddie 's. I wish I could say something positive about the place, I suppose the water was good is the best I 've got. If you 're looking for a dime a dozen filthy roadside diner you might be happy stopping here. If you 're looking for the as advertised Fine Dining , I 'd recommend you keep driving. There IS a great steakhouse in Lamont, Oklahoma if you don 't mind a short drive North. Kat 's Steakhouse will NOT disappoint. Jamey I have to guess you never ate at the Joseph 's of 30 years ago. If you had, you would understand (and agree with) my hateful and honest comments. Maybe rather than getting upset at an honest negative review, you should evaluate your restaurant with an open mind and fix what 's broken. In fairness, I didn 't know it had changed and gone downhill so much so maybe my expectations were just too high. Some may like the place, I just happen to be of a different opinion sir. Good luck.
