The menu had changed from what was on the website, but there were still a few vegan options to choose from. The mushroom starter was excellent, and the butternut squash dish was good though not overly impressive. I appreciated the vegan garlic bread as a nice touch. As for the sticky toffee pudding, it was simply outstanding!
I drove here the other night after following Happy Cow to a food place, there were only houses around and we're in November. I can't look around in the dark haha! So I drove closer to my camp and went to the Lewiston. I had no booking but I was given a table right away. The staff were lovely Updated from previous review on 2021-11-22
Can't remember the name of the meal we got but everything was vegan and it was really nice as a small lunch.
We went here twice while on holiday in Drumnadrochit and were absolutely delighted with this place. There were a few vegan options on the menu as well as a different special both days, and they were really well thought out and high quality. Not just the standard falafel or beetroot burgers we were expecting. In fact, now I’m back in St Andrews I’m a bit disappointed there is nowhere like the Lewiston here. As I say, the food was fantastic, and the service was very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place. One of the best vegan meals I’ve had in Scotland.
