El Rey Mexican Grill - Dripping Springs

The food was decent enough. The gravy wasn’t super flavorful. I got cheese enchiladas and a crispy taco and they were good as expected. The red salsa was pretty good but not terribly spicy. We were sat quickly but waited about 20 minutes for someone to take our order and they weren’t very busy. Food took a while to get to the table but once it was there it was all as we ordered. This place isn’t good or bad. It does the job.

Come here a lot for convenience. Plenty of seating even if they're busy.. Food is great.. Good size portions, prices and service. Hubby and I are regulars :

I was extremely disappointed by this restaurant. It is not family-friendly, the customer service is terrible, and the food was a major letdown. We were served undercooked beans and dry rice. The food was never delivered on time, and our waitress did not check on us or ask if we needed anything. Additionally, the manager argued with us about splitting the bill at the end of our meal. Despite informing them that we had a large party of 17 and wanted separate tabs, they insisted on putting everything on one bill for their convenience. This was a dreadful experience, and I have never witnessed an employee or manager argue with a customer in such a manner. The manager even rolled her eyes and huffed and puffed while we tried to explain the issues to them. I will never return to this restaurant.

Service was horrible. Very unorganized. No one (servers) knew which tables to attend servers screaming curse words in a FAMILY environment across the room. Only good thing was their salsa cause their food was even mediocre. #reySINcorona

Really good food and our waitress was nice. The salsa both green and red, were delicious. Would reccomend for anyone passing by.
