Restaurant Alexandros - Dresden

Delicious food and good prices. we were all satisfied. we have eaten 2x gyros and also the appetizer salad was very delicious.

I am a native here and can give some background information and would like to respond to the 1 point review. the cousin cooks, the sister serves, and the daughter helps out if she manages it next to the abi. except for the Syrian cuisine aid, everything is Greek. it is the most successful grieche in dresden despite the backyard and hardly readable advertising sign (soll be replaced). that speaks for itself. my publishing children, who have eaten 2 proportions at our last visit not managed to eat. they are also Pommes experts and consider these to be the best those who have ever eaten. it is a large piece of potatoes, so that it can be that, besides rice, only 5 pieces. I find this secretive therefore invaluable. the rice we cooked in tomato sauce after Greek art. not with ketchup. if it is full (often) the operation is very busy, the very personal assignment remains out. but always friendly. the scarce personal blanket is reflected in the price. top quality, huge portions, low price and a waiter for 2 tables doesn't fit. Overall a real recommended!

The alexandros is my home restaurant when I visit dresden. I like the sympathetic owner and the tasty eating and so far have always left the restaurant rich and happy. there are more finer addresses or cheaper restaurants, but the price/performance ratio is right for me here as otherwise nowhere. very recommended!

We were ending april with a bigger group there. we had pre-ordered and the courts had already chosen. everything worked great despite the group size, since a family operation is just flexible. the dishes were good and corresponded to the usual Greek offer in Germany. the service was fixed, the dishes came for all fast and almost simultaneously. the ambiente is not very appealing, because this is located locally in a side wing of a newer building.

A selection from the extensive map was very difficult, then one of the specialities came out from an order at the side table - a little bit with different meats at Metaxasauce. Very tasty and a generous portion, which was also to be observed with others.Also the tzaziki and the brot were great.
