Taj Mahal - Drammen

The food is fantastic. The taste is great and definitely has an authentic element to it. We usually go for a Paneer dish and it's really food from here. The staff are very helpful and welcoming albeit sometimes slow. There is only one issue here and that is the atmosphere. It's a bit dark and dank and feels like its stuck in 1980, this goes the same for the furniture and the style.

The food was decent, but the experience was unfortunately ruined by the service. The waiter was very slow and rude, which made the visit unpleasant. It was also disappointing to pay NOK 20 for a mango chutney that was less than a teaspoon. Overall I was very disappointed and it will be a long time until my next visit. Rude female waitress, made us wait for 30 min (not particularly busy when she first came over she didn't say anything, just looked at us. did not ask about strength, drink. That was okay. since my last visit seems to have increased the quality. the service could be more friendly. I thought I was gone.

Fake Indian restaurant ordered chili hä and panner masala. chili huhn was like a Chinese court, completely lacked the indochinese touch. Panner masala was crazy. the personal was not even inviting or nice talking, no smile was like a robot. never again because of the personal, because of the bad taste.
