Piccolo Trattoria - DOYLESTOWN

This is an excellent spot for Italian cuisine. Parking is convenient, and they accept reservations, although they also accommodate walk-ins. I love their gnocchi, but every dish I've tried here has been delicious.

The garlic knots were smaller than I expected, and I wished there was a bit more garlic and butter on them, but they were still tasty. As for the Brooklyn Pie, make sure to request it hot and crispy when you place your order. I gave this place a 5-star rating instead of 4 because I had some leftover pizza that we didn’t finish, and I took it home. The next day, I heated it up in a pan with some butter, and it turned out incredibly crispy and flaky – I loved it! The menu here is the same as Pennington’s, and I can’t wait to come back to try my favorites: the roasted artichokes and their homemade gnocchi. If you live nearby, definitely stop by and enjoy their famous Brooklyn Pie!

I had dinner for two and opted for the five-course menu, which came with a bottle of wine. The portion sizes were quite large! For the main course, we had the choice of steak or salmon. We left feeling satisfied and full—it was absolutely perfect! I jokingly wished I could eat half of my meal from my husband's plate! We ended up taking a lot of food home as well!

Dinners in this place are always amazing! Last time we went, we had a group of 5 and each person was very happy with the food they ordered. Look forward to coming back soon!
