Additionally, our entree orders were mixed up and served before any of the other courses. By the time my husband and I finished our main entrees and butcher feast, I was quite full but realized that our soups had not yet been served. I approached Rachel to ask about them, and she assured me they were on their way. However, after waiting a long time, they never arrived. Eventually, I decided to let Rachel know I wanted to cancel the soup order. To my surprise, she told me it couldn't be removed from the bill and that the manager was not available. How can a restaurant operate without a manager on a busy weekend night? Overall, while the food was good, the service was terrible, and we left feeling very disappointed.
A good addition to d-town's restaurant scene. Nice ambiance. Specialty cocktails are worth trying. So far my fave is the Upper Bucks. Pancake appetizers are fun to share. So far I've enjoyed the Thai side of the menu a little more than the sushi. More sampling needed.
Overall, I believe this restaurant is overpriced. The portion sizes are small, the takeout packaging feels cheap, and they don't even use seaweed in their miso soup—just a single spinach leaf. I do like their pad Thai, but the prices are still outrageous. The service when dining in could use significant improvement. It's definitely overrated.
My husband received his meal, but I never got mine. When the bill arrived, I noticed the prices were higher than those listed on the menu. When I asked about it, I was informed that the prices had gone up, but it was too expensive to print new menus. Unbelievable!
