フィードバックを提供するI visited on Saturday around 1pm. The restaurant wasn't very busy but I had to wait for 15 minutes to order a drink. I tried the seafood gumbo and the red beans and rice. Not much flavor and these two completely different items had the same taste. I ordered the fish and shrimp platter blackened instead of fried. I received fish only no shrimp. The blackened fish was too salty to eat. The fries were very good. Cole slaw is great because I don't like sweet slaw. The dipping sauce was flavorful. The item that made this a worthwhile meal was the Lost Cajun Hot Sauce. Not too spicy but added flavor to all items and the authentic Zydeco music. Server tried to take care of her guests but it was too much for 1 person to handle.
I wasn't going to write a review till I visit the lost cajun in canon city. My friends and i came here about 2 weeks or so ago. The place was dead, but we were excited to try this cajun place out. The first thing we see as we walked in, was the cook sitting down at the table on his phone. Server took a minute to get to us, even though there was nobody in the restaurant. We ordered 2 appetizers. Fried oysters and okra. Okra was good but the oysters were burnt and it looked like the flour wasn't sifted so that's all we tasted was burnt flour. We had to ask the waitress for the samples of the 6 main dishes. Catfish was dry, jambalaya rice was not cooked right, and the only thing we liked was the lobster bisque. We ordered the beignes and as you can see in the picture, he burnt it and the mix was not done correctly. Being that we were the only people here, we expected more. We took a chance to go to the one in canon city, and the waitress was busy, but still got to us quickly, efficient and brought us the sample without us asking for it. Food came out super fast! And was amazing. Hard to believe it's the same company restaurant. You guys should definitely step it up and instead of the cook being on his phone the entire time, he should of taken time to cook our food better!
After years of visiting their locations in Breck and other mountain towns, I was so happy to see this location come down here a few years ago. For lunch I always get a cup of lobster bisque and a shrimp po boy. Pastas and apps are fantastic too! Staff is always friendly and service is prompt.
We weren't lost when we found this place and so glad we did! My son wanted Cajun food for his birthday with 12+ people. We might have lucked out calling ahead because we were seated right away. The server was great and all the food was fresh and tasty! Mind you this was last Saterday before Father's day. There are alot of choices and was worried about last minute plans but glad I gave this chain a Chace! Nobody left hungry or disappointed! Wheelchair accessibility: No worries roll right in!
First time visit report the staff was super kind. My husband asked how spicey was spicey, and the server brought him a sample of the sausage w the sauce. We really appreciate that opportunity to try before we buy. He handed up getting red beans and rice, which he said was pretty good. I had the Voodoo Pasta, comes with shrimp and sausage. It was amazing and large enough to save some for a small lunch the next day. We also tried the hush puppies and beignets. Both were pretty darn good. Beignets came 3 in an order, and they were good sizes. Don 't sleep on them, though. They are not great the next day. The hush puppies came 6 or 8 in an order, and they had a lot of flavor. I would recommend those any day and twice on Sunday. We will be back. I can 't wait to try more items on the menu.
