Potato Corner - Downey

Went today to buy 3 giga fries and two coke. My total was around 35 dollars and the white fat cashier doesn’t want to take my fifty dollars because she said no over 20 dollars bills. I said common sense my total is 35 and you want me to pay 20 not unless she wanted me to pay only 20 and she will pay for the difference. And she had a very bad attitude from the start

I really wanted to love everything about this place because, well, potatoes! Unfortunately, the tater tots I received did not resemble the delicious ones I had seen in photos at all. Instead, they looked old and hard, even though I saw them being made fresh, so I know that wasn't the issue. I chose not to add any seasoning because I didn't want to overdo it. The overall flavor was just okay, and the service was satisfactory. However, the pricing and limited options solidified my decision to not return. With only two size options and the smaller one costing $7.25, I was hoping for something truly exceptional. I think I’ll stick to the tater tots at Sonic instead.

I'm giving this place 2 stars primarily due to the poor service. I had heard great things about it and was excited to try it for the first time. However, when I arrived, I wasn't greeted at all and found myself waiting for someone to acknowledge me and help me with my order. The three staff members on duty looked quite miserable; they made eye contact with me but didn't offer any assistance or even a greeting. It felt as though I was intruding on them. While the food might be good, after waiting and looking at the menu without any decent service, I decided to leave because I no longer wanted to stay. I don't think I'll return to this location; the experience was disappointing. They really need to improve their staff or raise their wages to encourage better performance!

I am potato corner addict. It's so good! Get the (Spicy BBQ Loopy fries) they are so good.

I love the fries. The Seasoning is the reason why i go but your paying 8.50 for the large size and can't even coat the fries right. Extra Seasoning is 50 cents. 9 dollars and the employee was rude. I love this place but they act like the Seasoning comes out the their paycheck. Horrible. Aside that I asked the guy for extra Seasoning and payed but when I looked in the bag it was the wrong Seasoning and just didn't bother with the rude guy. I dont think I can come back here.
