フィードバックを提供するI have dined at this restaurant many times over the years with my family. The food is always cooked to perfection and the staff are kind and courteous. I would give this restaurant a 5-star rating for their excellent service.
This chippie in County Down is the best I've been to. Despite being busy during lunchtime, the food was delicious and worth the wait. Even my picky Mum agrees that the cod here is flaky and tasty. I ordered the chicken Maryland and it was excellent value for money. The chicken was cooked perfectly with no gristle or veins. I usually have leftovers when dining out, but this meal was so good that I finished everything on my plate. I'll definitely be returning, maybe even weekly.
We only go to this restaurant for convenience, but this will be the last time. This is not just a one-time bad experience, these guys are consistently terrible, as the other low-scoring reviews mention. I was disappointed to open my burger and find a messy, unappetizing salad on top. To top it off, there was a black hair stuck to one of the chips, which was disgusting. I was so angry that I threw the food away without even taking a picture. Other reviews mention serving raw chicken and low-quality cheese. How do they get away with such terrible service and lack of hygiene? It seems like they can't even get basic items like salt and vinegar right. They are also consistently slow with orders, often arriving over an hour late. Save your money and go somewhere else where they actually care about their customers and provide good service.
We as a family have got food from Quins on quite a few occasions, the food has always been 1st class and I have great banter with the owners and staff.Bad feedback should always be taken with a large pinch of salt (and a splash of vinegar).
As a Crossgar resident our family have had a few meals from Quinns.They often make a mistake with the order, however we return.The last 4 orders we have made have been wrong and late. I understand they are busy and mistakes make us human.However ignorance is unacceptable. We ordered at 4:30 for collection at 6:30. we arrived at 6:30 and they said it was being prepared....30mins later I called Andrew over (the owner) asked where the order was...his response was disgusting embarrassing. I collected the order and asked for his private number to speak to him when he was less busy....once again his response was ignorant and unacceptable.O Yeah and of course when I got back home the order was wrong.I WILL NOT NOT BE BACK! MY MONEY IS GOING TO THOSE WHO DESERVE APPRECIATE IT!As for COVID 19 Customers entered the premises without masks and were not challenged or asked to sanitise and only a few of the staff were wearing masks.deeply disappointing...
