Food sucks now and they reduced their hours. Find a better place for authentic AND good soul food. This ain’t it.

Order: wings, cat fish, Mac and cheese, yams, banana pudding which used to be my favorite).The chicken was so salty it wasn't edible. The fish was under cooked and extremely oily not edible), the yams were disgusting, the Mac was essentially noodles with butter, and the banana pudding which was previously amazing tasted like boxed powdery pudding. And the restaurant flat out stinks and is dirty. Complete waste of money. Never again.

A year ago, after we first ordered, I gave a solid, positive review. Today, after having experienced multiple meals over the last 12 mos, I have to say that they have NOT lived up to that first, great dining experience.We ordered for delivery as we usually do: the sides were not accurate (a repeat problem) the corn was sour; needless to say, we threw it out. Besides that, the quality of the food is pretty consistently INCONSISTENT, as others have pointed out. The catfish is always delish, but the sides are hit or miss especially the mac cheese (color, flavor, consistency).I rated the atmosphere low because the one time we went in and ordered take out, the decor was sparse, the service barely adequate, and they still managed to mess up the order after a detailed review at the counter; and, it took FOREVER.#DoBetter

The food is excellent, my first time there I had Shrimp and Grits with Scrambled Eggs they were so good I had to come back and get them again the second time plus I got a order of Jerk Chicken to go for later. ??
