The Lydden Bell - Dover

We had dinner at the pub, it felt in the countryside without being far away from Dover. A good location with sufficient parking. We had pork belly and Salmon en croute with apple crumble and hot cookie dough to finish. All fantastic meals, delicious, well cooked and presented. The staff were friendly, great level of service without feeling rushed or slow. Would recommend!

We had an excellent experience. We were tired and hungry on arrival and the staff were very welcoming. They served us a delicious meal and very kindly hurried it through as they were very busy so we were very grateful. Great pub and will definitely be back.

Found the pub on line and, man, what a find! Superb lunch the fish mixed grill is great, as is the Ploughman’s Platter. Make sure you’re hungry if you visit. We’ll definitely be back!

We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed, consistently good food, portions are generous and the staff smiling and helpful. Last night was no exception and we look forward to our next visit.

The best I can say for the Lydden Bell is that the chips were good and the servers were efficient and pleasant. I had steak there's not much that can go wrong with steak (in theory) but it was awful, tough, overcooked and not desperately warm. I can't recommend it to anyone.
