The Gadsden - Douglas

The restaurant is a little overpriced, and the service is bad. The wait staff are slow and forget refills, condiments, ect...Update: This is not a one-time experience. It is the usual.

Beautiful hotel with its turn of century staircase, delicious breakfast at the 333 restaurant and great customer service.

For a hotel built in 1097, it was very nice. Price was reasonable, and restaurant and food were good .

Beautiful hotel and historic, friendly staff. Copper queen up the road gets all the press, but this hotel is the belle. Worth the drive and eat at a local spot! Fun day trip from Tucson!

We decided to get a room last minute and the staff at the Gadsden hotel were amazing! The historic hotel is gorgeous, and the rooms are updated yet still have the original feel. The room uses real keys! The antique elevator is definitely something to see! The room had fantastic air conditioning, a mini frige/freezer, cable, and a super comfortable bed. The cleaning staff obviously takes pride in their work, because the room was very clean and well stocked. We were impressed with the mini coffee bar equipped with a microwave close to our room. The restaurant in the lobby has friendly service, a nice menu, reasonable prices, and a great atmosphere. Upon check-out, the friendly desk clerk came right to our room with a cart and helped us out to the car. She did not rush us, and we had a wonderful conversation about the history of the hotel. Our experience was very positive. We definitely are going to be staying at the Gadsden in the future!
