Kyoto Sushi - Dothan

The Tibetan roll might be the best roll I've ever had, anywhere! It's such a lovely place to dine, and they do an excellent job with takeout as well.

**TL;DR:** Unfortunately, I have to post this review because I have enjoyed this restaurant many times in the past, but I experienced food poisoning recently. On Tuesday, May 31, 2022, I took my two oldest children there. I should have taken the first sign—the menu was left on the table, likely due to a spill. However, based on my previous positive experiences, I brushed it off. The next day, I felt exhausted and developed a fever, followed by two days of diarrhea where I couldn't eat anything. Now it's Friday, June 3, 2022, and I’m just starting to feel normal again. I’m fairly certain it was the sushi that caused this issue, as the only other thing I had that day was an apple for breakfast. I spent $110 there, and it was unfortunately not worth it.

Service was friendly and fantastic. The food was amazing! If you love spicy, then their spicy roles will be great. Your Sriracha Mayo is a-mazing!!! And her monkey-brain appetizer was delicious. Would definitely recommend and will return. Money Brain App is a stuffed roasted mushroom? Sooo good!

I stopped here because of the great sushi reviews. I was disappointed to find that the rolls were mostly rice and the salmon was barely visible. The taco su appetizer had good flavor though.
