Zur Waldesruh - Dortmund

The food was good to very good, but the son of the cook treated the guests like dirt!!! After complaint about dried papricot gel in the food, he said that it would be a stone and nothing else. Sorry, but he has nothing to look in there! An apology was of course not followed by the unfriendly service employee. My last visit to this sounfriendly house. Never again.

We have been visiting this restaurant located on the B236 directly on the forest for several years. On Sundays, a good-bourgeois lunch card is always offered, which can be seen on the Internet the day before. Our daughters are also thrilled and are looking forward to the joint lunch in Waldesruh on Saturdays. So, definitely return with previous view of the menu on the internet.

The restaurant Waldesruh offers good-bourgeois cuisine with emphasis on 'good'. Therefore, it is always worth considering if it is necessary to celebrate a larger festival or organize a larger event. On the one hand there is a large festive room, which can be decorated beautifully and in which the guests can be supplied very well. On the other hand, the buffet is as rich as tasty and inexpensive. We attended a wedding party there and were once again satisfied with our stay in this nice restaurant.

The food is very varied and certainly better to be called a good bourgeois. However, you should arrive at lunchtime or after 17.00, otherwise you can read a shortened card. The service is extremely professional and very attentive. At the beginning there is always a really great greeting from the kitchen,we never had the same,incomparable. Whether meat or fish dishes, it's always very tasty and hungry home is probably no one. Prices are also moderate. The house still has a very large hall for celebrations. I think I'll need it on my next round.

A bit hidden, but recommended: The restaurant 'Zur Waldesruh ' in the outskirts of Dortmund. A large parking space is available. The beautifully designed beer garden and the appealing interior of the restaurant fit well to the clear menu that speaks for fresh preparation and fresh food. The staff is accommodating, but not intrusive. It tasted us well here; we like to come back!
