Dorset County Museum Tea Room

This was my first time visiting the restaurant since its extensive renovation over the last 2 years. The displays were excellent and I would have happily spent hours there if I didn't have a 7-year-old with me. The reference library caught my eye and I believe I will have to come back to explore it further. I have never seen so many local books that piqued my interest before.

I recently visited the restaurant after its renovation and was amazed by the changes! The new galleries are captivating and the restaurant is now more welcoming to families and individuals with disabilities. There is even a designated quiet space for autistic visitors to take a break. Additionally, it is the only place in Britain where you can walk on authentic Roman mosaics.
