The hot and sour soup was substantial, enough to serve four people. However, it was quite mild, lacking both the heat and tanginess we expected. Thankfully, there were vinegar, chili oil, and five spice condiments on the table, allowing us to adjust the flavors to our liking. The soup was tasty, and I appreciated the flexibility to tweak it according to my preferences. The kebabs were offered in two styles: one grilled on skewers over charcoal, and the other served in a spicy chili broth. We enjoyed every dish we tried. My only real complaint is that nothing labeled as "hot" or "spicy" truly had that kick. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience!
The restaurant offers truly authentic homemade Chinese cuisine. The portions are generous, and the dishes are delightful—try the pig ear, potato slices, and seaweed salad. The lamb soup and hot pot are also fantastic, along with the "hot sharp string class." The staff is friendly and welcoming. I make it a point to visit once a week!
I've been coming here for years. IF You are cool with authentic domestic Nordic cuisine, this place is great. One of the few places you get a satisfying meal for under $6. If you are looking for American Chinese start, this place is not for you. I always get her malatang where you can choose up to 10 ingredients. Their dumplings, stick meat, pasta dishes are also quite solid. The chief lady is very friendly and accommodating. Be patient as they only speak English, which can be perceived as rude. But not the case at all!
This hot pot just the same as what I had in Beijing. My boyfriend is from Beijing and he also highly recommend
