Manor Farm - Doncaster

Not recommended - The appetizers were average, my father had the parfait and it was presented well, but the garlic mushrooms were soggy. The main course was terrible - the stuffing had to be rehydrated, the Yorkshire puddings were inedible, the roast potatoes and vegetables seemed stale. The gravy was salty and the meat was okay at best. The food came out quickly but was impossible to eat. The decor was tacky and cheap, reminiscent of a girl's bedroom from the 2000s. The service area and bar had potential, but the decor and food quality need improvement. Overall, not worth the money. I regret paying for the meal and wish I had only paid for mine. Would not recommend or return.

My girlfriend and I made a reservation at a restaurant and arrived a little early, about ten minutes. When we arrived, we were informed that a menu would need to be located as they had run out of them. We waited for ten minutes, wondering where these menus could possibly be found. Eventually, two menus were brought to us, but then another ten minutes passed with no drinks order and no communication from the staff. I understand that on a busy Friday night a delay might be expected if the restaurant was packed, but in this case, the venue was less than half full. This lack of service was completely unacceptable. It was clear that table service was available, as we observed the table next to us ordering and paying for their meal.

This venue is absolutely amazing for a small wedding reception. The service was flawless, allowing us to set up the room the day before and adjust the furniture as needed. The food was outstanding, perfectly cooked and served promptly. The manager, Andrew, went above and beyond for us, even purchasing fans for the room on a hot day. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The staff, especially Jess and Kian, were fantastic and catered to our every need. Despite a letdown from the DJ we booked, they played music from their phones and took requests, even providing disco lights for the bride and groom's first dance. I highly recommend this venue for any special occasion. The beautiful gardens provided a perfect place to relax. I urge everyone to book this venue for their celebrations, you will not be disappointed. Thank you to the entire team for making our day so memorable. 5-star service!

We visited this pub to catch up with family on our way back from Northumberland to Cornwall. We had booked seats outside but as it was so hot and sunny with an older person and a dog in the group we asked if we could sit inside instead. The staff especially a blonde lady on duty could not have done anymore for us, her customer service was outstanding. All the staff were lovely and this was really appreciated by all of us. We ordered our food and when it came it was top quality, hot, tasty and big portions. We had, the belly pork, lamb, pie and lasagne. They had run out of some of the potato dishes but were quick to let us know as we ordered and had an alternative instead which was fine. My mother in law said it was the best lasagne she had eaten out. We also had cheesecakes and brownies and again these were really nice. The place is decorated very nicely throughout with lots of twinkly lights in the beams and the tables set up, it was also very clean. Our family said they have not been here for a while but are now going to start making it a regular place to eat at, they were really impressed. Just need to reiterate how great the staff are here, thank you.

Visited The Manor today. Excellent service from Sydney. Also Sydney makes the most amazing cocktails. Beautiful interior. The bar is well stocked with a good choice.
