When we were asked for more details in our review, here's a brief summary: the atmosphere felt like a basement—dark and uninviting, and there was a bothersome group nearby. We requested to be moved 15 times, but were told that all the tables were reserved, despite the fact that half of them were empty at midnight. The place stays open until 2 or 3 AM. On a positive note, the playlist was enjoyable.
Nice place, visit it from time to time. Tasty food, a lot of beer to drink, nice quiet atmosphere. Although could be loud and overcrowded.
I believe a rebranding is essential. They should update the furniture to create a more inviting café atmosphere. Furthermore, the kitchen could use some enhancements. While the sausages and appetizers are decent, some dishes, like the quesadilla, could use refinement. The beer is good, but it could benefit from a bit of finishing touches.
Charming bar with an inviting atmosphere and a nice variety of beers. I've been here multiple times before and had great experiences, but sadly, it seems to have declined this year. We ordered several dishes but found them to be quite lacking in flavor. The wait for our food was excessively long, and the bar itself could use some updates, as it looks rather worn out. The portion sizes have definitely decreased, and there's a noticeable drop in the quality of the meals; the food was quite watery. Overall, I would rate the food a 2 out of 5.
The Bolognese pasta, which was supposed to feature a rich tomato sauce, appeared to have no sauce at all and emitted a smell reminiscent of expired pork. This was the first time I had encountered Bolognese made with pork that had an off odor. The pasta was completely dry, lacking both salt and seasoning. It seemed as though the chef may have used up all the garlic during the cooking process. Overall, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had for either dinner or lunch. Perhaps the menu would be better off focusing solely on beer and fried sausages. I felt nauseous for an hour due to the unpleasant aromas coming from their dishes and was unable to eat anything.
