Elixor - Dollard-des-Ormeaux

I had not frequented Elixir since pandemic and glad to see that it's status quo which is a great thing.Prices have edged up, but not unreasonably, and the quality and choices of menu remain A1.I take the fish and chips and they are as great as ever.Would highly recommend for quality, atmosphere and value for the dollar.

I was there 2 days.The food was good, the waiter was good. The problem began when our waiter (super nice) got some help from his colleague, a young lady with waist length light brown, blondish hair, tied back in a verrrry loooose ponytail. She brought out a plate for my friend sitting next to me. This waitress completely hovering over me and my plate basically brushed her ponytail right across my plate. YES. her pony tail ..All 6 of us were shocked. The worst part of all this is I pointed this out to her, her response was oh sorry in a cold manner and walked away. WHAT THE ??? She disappeared ??. Our original waiter came by the table , I explained what happened, he replaced the plate with a new one.The food had not been touched.

It's your average North American diner. Fried dishes are ok, but that's about it. Pizza is pretty bad, the salads are big, but there's more lettuce than anything else, so not impressive at all.The place itself is rather old and it shows that nothing was invested in the design, furnishing, etc. in many years.Not a place I will personally recommend nor go back to.

Very nice restaurant!Fast, helpful and polite service.The food is very well done and tastes great! Love their cocktails!Definitely a place to go!

Very inconsistent. Not a good quality for a restaurant. Just ordered their signature Frank’s chicken sandwich. The chicken was so burnt it wasn’t even editable let alone recognizable. It is unimaginable that anyone could have served it or anyone could have let it be served.I will never eat there again. Thank you for stealing my hard earned money.Shame on you!!
