The Cookery - Dobbs Ferry

We had New Year’s Eve dinner at The Cookery. It is a great local spot! The food was fabulous, as always (sometimes holiday prix fixe meals are sub-par, but not at The Cookery). Service was friendly and prompt. Portions were more than generous. Unfortunately, the music was way too loud, and not in keeping with a New Year’s “feel.” At times, it felt more like we were eating at a loud sports bar with heavy metal blaring than a local restaurant on a celebratory evening. Still, we have every intention of going back and would encourage others to try it out.

The Cookery is a great local restaurant in Dobbs Ferry. We lived in Westchester County and now travel from NJ to go to The Cookery restaurant. We only go 2-3 a year since we live in NJ. The food is excellent and they really try to accommodate people who have food allergies. We went for the New Year's Eve prefix menu event and it was a great deal for us. All the staff made sure we felt welcomed and made sure our needs were met. The quality of the meats are excellent.

Both Owner Exectuive Chef know how to cook and provide an amazing experience every time we dine there.

We sat outside, and they are excellent at what they do. Wonderful food, service, and drinks as well. I do find the inside to be too loud when it's a full house (and it always is full). Otherwise we love going here!
