Lounge Cafe Forrest - Dmitrov

This is a great place with a pleasant interior design and a warm atmosphere. The waitstaff is quick and unobtrusive. We celebrated a birthday here. Unfortunately, there are no discounts for special occasions, but they kindly prepared a dessert with a candle upon our request. Overall, the food is tasty and beautifully presented. The prices are slightly above average. However, the risotto was overly salty, so I wouldn't recommend it. The salads, grilled dishes, and desserts were very delicious. It’s a worthy spot for Dmitrov, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

I do not recommend this establishment due to its rude service. Given the not-so-cheap prices of around 500 rubles and up per dish, the service was atrocious. Out of three staff members, not one thought to greet me. I sat down at a table, and the waiter passed by me multiple times without offering a menu or acknowledging my presence. After waiting for 10 minutes in silence, I left, and the staff didn’t pay any attention to me at all. I would have attributed the rudeness to them being busy, but there was only one other guest — a girl who was dining alone. Room service is not offered.

A good restaurant. The restaurant is located in the hotel building, and the interior is modern and well-balanced. The predominant use of dark wood colors, combined with warm lighting, creates a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of an old study. The summer terrace has a simpler design, but it's still very fitting. The staff is polite and attentive; the waiter was always nearby when needed. The portions are generous, and while the prices are on the higher side, the food is delicious, although perhaps not memorable.

We visited Forrest based on the excellent reviews, and our expectations were truly met. We ordered the most delicious borscht, which came with a small plate of lard that just melted in our mouths. We also shared a portion of fried potatoes with mushrooms, which is listed as a side dish but could easily stand on its own as a main course. We left fully satisfied, and a special thanks goes to our waiter, Semyon, for his recommendations. Everything was just right—enough to enjoy a good meal and leave us eager to return and try more dishes.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, the interior is stylish, and the staff is friendly.
