Harrington's - Dingle

My friends and I have come here today for what we hoped to be a lovely breakfast after enjoying a meal here yesterday evening. We are a party of 7 and the booths here fit 6 people. Yesterday, we were offered an extra chair to accommodate our extra member. Today we were spoken to in a disrespectful and condescending manner by whom I assume to be the manager about how it’s a ‘health and safety’ hazard to add an extra chair. I have never heard the likes of it in my life. As well as that, there was a massive spill at our table that failed to be cleaned but that didn’t seem to be too much of a safety hazard for our dear manager.(as well as the bathroom floor being wet too with no wet floor sign in sight). I also received a coffee with gone off soy milk, which was replaced by the lovely barsita at the register. Most staff seem lovely but the manager is a clown on a power trip.

The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because of the customer service. As a group of 7, we went on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The kitchen staff came out and chatted with us about our stay and made sure we were comfortable. The diner booths fit only 6 people and we were offered a chair to put at the end of the table so no one was left out. We returned on Sunday to a horrible atmosphere catered especially for us by the owner. When we grabbed a chair for our 7th member we were ridiculed like children multiple times claiming it was against insurance policy. There’s a way to speak to customers and that was not it. Our coffees were made using gone off milk and our meal was particularly soured by the hostile environment created by the host. For someone to talk about insurance policies, the floor was soaking wet and was so easy for customers to fall. Nice staff run by a big massive w A n k e r Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Was here a couple of times while visiting Dingle. They have a good selection of food and it’s tastes good. It is partial self service so the inside can get a bit busy at times, however quite a good option on a busy day at Dingle. The staff are very friendly and take good care inspite of the rush. Fabulous customer service. The sticky toffee was Amazing. Our group of 8 went 3 times and was never disappointed. She was even kind enough to open her doors earlier on our final day so we could make our flight. Will visit again next time we come.
