La Taverne - Digne-les-Bains

Do not expect great super refined cuisine, but be sure to eat well. probably the most famous restaurant to dignified, certainly not the best, but it is a sure value. the terrace under the plane trees is pleasant.

We had a group dinner for 15 at La Taverna Christophe helped with reservations nd the menu offered enough options to please vegan to carnivore.

This is a typical French brasserie with fast service, decent food and a lot of choices that can please everyone: pizza, pasta, fish, meatA good ratio

Discovered by chance. We were well received. casual and serious staff. excellent salmon, very good day lasagna. compliments for the homemade tiramisu.

I explain: we ordered 2 pints and 3 tapas dishes (since the 4th chosen was no longer available at 7pm). We were served more than 30 minutes after most of the tables were free, I don't imagine what it would give in full rush. all this for frozen tapas except the crispy chicken house that turns out to be nice. the background atmosphere: servers that speak badly and criticize before the customer, bread and most dishes more available at 8 pm, a terrace that takes the water ... short pass your way!
