Las Plazas Mexican - Dickson

This is the best thing in DICKSON. The SERVICES are great. The guards are very friendly. The WAREN is everything! You have the best CHIPs in TOWN, ALWAYS WARM and NIE BURNT. I RECOMMEND the woman to another who is like a treasure in a NICE ATMOSPHERE.

OK, the guy that gave this restaurant one star is clearly a moron that works for the competition. For starters, this is the best mexican restaurant I have ever been to. When we're out of town and eat at a Mexican restaurant, we always comment how it doesn't come close to Las Plazas' food. Secondly, the servers are wonderful. They don't have a high turnover...the same servers are always there. The bathrooms are super clean. The service is great. OK, so admittedly they have a few gramatical errors on their menu because they do not speak English as their primary language. I can live with that. After all, they truly are from Mexico, which makes their food taste even more authentic. Every time we go the restaurant, they are almost all the way full, but we hardly ever have to wait for a table (a BIG plus). Some of our friends who own a catering business say that Las Plazas is the only Mexican restaurant they will eat at in Dickson. I heartily give Las Plazas five stars!!

I have been to this restaurant many times and have found it to be a pleasant experience. The servers and staff are very friendly and the service is quick and the food is good. Our favorite item is the chile rellenos dinner. It is excellent. Yes many of the servers speak Spanish as their primary language, but I find that adds to my experience. I would recommend going before the dinner rush to have the optimal experience, because as with all restaurants the volume of dining guests can effect your enjoyment of the experience...so if you go at the rush get the two for one margaritas, and ask them to bring them both at the same time.

This was the worst experience at a Mexican Restaurant. No wonder the place is always empty. Yes, there are a lot of cars in front, but that is just the workers and their kids hanging out. We couldn 't understand our server, he didn 't speak English well. We ordered and it took him about ten minutes to bring our food but, he didn 't bring our children 's food with him. He told us at that time that they were out of what we ordered for our children. So, we ordered something else for them, this was very irritating. For the adults to have food not the children. Our food was absolutely BLAND! Gross, disgusting and not fit for human consumption! It tasted like it had been made days earlier then simply thrown in the oven to heat it up! Nasty!! So, he never came back to ask us how it was. Only to clear the full plates and then bring the children their desert.....and that was at least 15 minutes after he cleared our table. They over-charged and we called them on it. They asked how everything was at the register, my husband said that it was disgusting. The guy laughed!! My husband said No, really. It was disgusting my wife didn 't even eat it . The guy just smiled took our money and that was it. Also, the bathrooms are sickeningly filthy, I wish that I would have ventured in before ordering. Bottom line is DO NOT eat at this filthy place... I will be contacting the Health Department. One thing about this place that made us smile...... On the receipt it states: Gratitude not Included !!!! What a bunch of morons! When we saw that we looked at each other said ahhh, that explains it all !!

It seems like the 1-star reviewer must have been confused or clicked the wrong button because Las Plazas is incredible. There's no Americanization here! The selection of dishes is excellent, the food is exceptional, and the service is outstanding!
