Bon Kura - Dickson

Random decision to check a bit thickson for dinner, and landed on this joint, of cantonese speaking people, and where some old school mando-pop played.../ on the menu there is a variety. we pork bauchnabel spits lachs spieße wagyu enoki maki (enoki mushroom with wagyu bark wrapped with cooking special salt grilled makrele (saba shioyaki) plain suppenrogen (tonkotsu broth japanese steamed rice br>/ eating is a bit expensive, but everything was well boiled and the taste is good.

This place is as Japanese as I am, which is not at all. it started ok when it first opened but fast, as downhill from average Ok for cooked dishes, at least until the last time when the rice was crispy. it would obviously have been served in the reiscooker on warm for too long.Service was never so great, and eat nothing with fresh fish in it. also suffers from great menu-itis, where there are too many dishes for everything that is done especially well. at least nothing I tried.

The Sushi wasn't fresh at all - the rice dish had a more Chinese flavour to it - slow service and I think the owners are Chinese - overall - a very disappointing experience- they also have a credit card surcharge...an absolute rip off - please take your business elsewhere as you will be disappointed eating at this horrible restaurant- never again !

Worst Japanese I have experienced and I have eaten at a number of Japanese restaurants. Food was bland and the service was slow and random. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Good set out. Waiting staff are non responsive all the time, and all the pop songs in the background were also a bit of a hit and miss. The sushi and sashimi are the biggest disappointment. We ordered the sakura set, which is a combination of nigiri, sashimi and rolls. The rice was sticky and powdery, the seafood were frozen for a long time and thawed that you can see the blood clots in the tuna. All the ingredients are at least 3 days old, and the dish were some how warm which only made it worse. FORGET THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR GOOD SUSHI AND SASHIMI!
