Nothing beautiful, but it is clean and the staff is welcoming and friendly. My wife and I both had a chicken dinner and a cup of soup. The chicken was very good. It was juicy and tender with a non-fat skin. I had the Borscht and my wife had a disgusting soup called knoephla. Both soups were amazing. They use at least two different types of beet in their rupture. I don't know if it is caused by another curing time for the beet, but the color of the two is not the same. Had a casual conversation with the owner when we left, but then he was very guarded about his soup recipes. Said they were locked in a safe. Whatever. I didn't steal anything, Jack. Just wanted to say the flavors were wonderful
I really liked this place. The atmosphere is land, but comforting. The staff was quite friendly and the food came out quite quickly, although we came after lunch. Thy managed to clean up and very well, although there were only two servers at that time. The food was very good, nothing extravagant, just simple and well done.
I have cooked meal and atmosphere throughout the city for a good house... I should have been looking here first! Not only is it the best fried chicken, freshly made pages, and homemade ranch, which might be the best ive ever cost, but Jack personally takes my order and ensures the quality of my order. After telling me some great stories, he personally asked the kitchen to throw some extras for me to try the delicious. Read my other reviews.... I am not always the easiest to please and I have high expectations of service and Jack's restaurant has met or exceeded all. Five out of five.
This restaurant has the best burgers and chicken my mouth was watering with the smells and there was the best service and jacks had great waiters and waitresses 10/10
We stopped in 7/26/2018 shortly after noon. As we entered someone said hello, sit anywhere you want. After about 5 minutes, two other tables near us had people sit down at them. A waitress came to each table and took their orders. My wife said that she also looked at our table. We waited another 5 minutes and the waitress came back to one of the tables and started to visit. At that point we got up to leave. The waitress stopped visiting and asked if we needed anything. I told her that we were not being served and were leaving. This brought no reply. At the register there was a man talking on a cell phone. He asked if he could help us. I told him about sitting down and getting no service so we were leaving. I received no reply from him. He went back to his call and I left.
