Sweet lady has big selection and great tasting breakfast sandwiches.
I sampled my husband's croissant sandwich and it was amazing—so buttery and soft! I ordered the biscuit sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious! It was moist and fluffy, with the egg and bacon cooked to perfection. The chocolate coating on the donuts tasted like genuine chocolate, unlike the syrupy sauces that many places use. I'm so glad I listened to the other reviews and decided to stop by. Whenever we return to Texas, this will be a must-visit! Thank you for the love and care you put into your food; it really shows and is greatly appreciated!
They used to be amazing. Unfortunately, it's become hit or miss lately. Some days, their donuts are fantastic, while on others, they taste stale and unpleasant.
The donuts can be quite inconsistent. Some days they are fabulous, while other days they taste off, almost like they have a strange chemical flavor. This morning was particularly disturbing. A father came in with his twin toddler daughters, who proceeded to walk behind the counter, fingers in their mouths, and touch all the donuts within reach. Neither the staff nor the father attempted to intervene, which was completely unacceptable. It was truly unsettling. Even though this is the only donut shop in town, I'm unsure if I will return. If you decide to visit today, I recommend steering clear of the chocolate glaze... unless you don’t mind a sprinkle of toddler drool on your treat.
