Managed to get a spare table for 4 by the front window which I'd definitely recommend for the view and the lovely light. The food is absolutely amazing. 2 of us had the roast beef Sunday lunch and 2 of us had the monkfish curry. All were very pleased. The puddings were also excellent, and we were spoils for choice. It's medium priced but well worth it.
If you're looking for a fine dining experience but want a livelier atmosphere than a haute cuisine restaurant, then Harringtons on the Hill is the place for you. This intimate, some would say cosy restaurant serves delectable food in a warm, family environment. It's the perfect place to catch up with old friends while you savour one of the many mouth watering dishes on offer. The backdrop of vibrant conversation and hushed murmurings of delight provides a welcome distraction from the fact that service can occasionally be a little on the slow side. Book a table in advance for you and a few friends, immerse yourself in the ambience and enjoy the unique setting you'll be warmly rewarded.
Generally we head to Harringtons mid week which is ideal as you don't need to book. The atmosphere here is perfect, cosy and comfortable. The food is good, and the staff bend over backwards to help. Being a regular the manager knows what I like and he always goes out of his way to make sure you're happy. A wonderful small restaurant with an atmosphere which is difficult to beat in kenilworth.
