Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Detroit

I’m Popeye the Sailor Man, and I absolutely adore my spinach and avocados! Today, I visited a fantastic nutritional smoothie shop in downtown Detroit. My smoothie was delicious, and I can't wait to go back!

This cafe was a lifesaver during my Memorial Day weekend trip to Detroit. It was great to find a place with healthier fast food options, located just a short five-minute walk from my hotel. I ended up ordering from there about four times over six days, and everything tasted fresh and consistent. My favorites were the peanut chia seed banana smoothie and the detox green island smoothie, both of which I always added an extra supplement to. The online ordering app was easy to use, and the timing for picking up my orders was perfect. The staff was friendly, the service was excellent, and my orders were always securely bagged or double-bagged. I recommended this spot to all my friends that weekend and highly recommend it to anyone staying downtown who wants more than just Shake Shack, Coney Island, and 7-Eleven while visiting.

If I could do zero stars I would. This place is right by my job and I came here atleast four times. Today was the fourth and final time. Each time the smoothies are gross, they ether lack ice lack flavor, too much ice too much water . Like are they follow the directions? Customer service is terrible. The worst tropical smoothie a bunch of kids not caring. Some higher power needs to go and evaluate the conditions and quality of this place because it's making tropical smoothie in general look horrible. As i sit with my water down smoothie.

I wish I can do a 0 star .. I love tropical smoothie but the staff here is not good.. they always messing up on my order .. giving me side eye when I say my order wrong. Then still make smoothie nasty. If I order online I still have to wait after doing a online order 20 mins ago. Either they need a better manager or new staff

Delicious smoothies, but unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired. This place draws a crowd, but if management doesn't address the poor service, the uncleanliness, and the lackadaisical attitude of the staff, it might soon find itself closing its doors – and it would be justified. The environment is quite unpleasant, making me hesitant to purchase a smoothie here. I would advise caution if you consider visiting this establishment.
